Well Hello There Roses,
Long time no talk. For those who are just finding us welcome to the official RebelRoses blog and website, we’ll do a formal introduction in a few sentences. For those who are re-joining welcome back, and thank you for your patience! We are so excited to be up and running again. As you can see we had good reason for the hiatus-can we get a huge round of virtual applause for our amazing web designers, they worked so hard for the last few weeks to create this beautiful site, and we could not be more thankful.
Now a lot has happened in the last few weeks so allow us to give you all a formal re-introduction to RebelRoses. We are a new community organization focused on connecting women/non-binary people 18+ from throughout the Lower Mainland. We want to create a sisterhood, a safe space for women to open up, to connect with one another, learn from and teach one another, and most importantly give the tools to empower each of us to create and live our dream lives in reality.

Through major events, discussions, workshops, and eventually a mentorship and scholarship program we hope to carve a path for those who did not have one, did not know how to create one, and for those who are ready to create a path.

There are a lot of interesting things to see on our new website, we have a resources page (if you any suggestions to add to it please let us know), a forum for everyone to discuss a topic of the month (maybe even week). There’s fun little polls on the home page, a community events feature (again if you have any submissions we’d be more than happy to feature it on here), and so much more! As we grow, our website will too, so you may notice changes as time goes by, but each new update brings with it a fresh of breath air.

We are also including two new features in our blogs. Every two weeks we will be doing a special guest blog on Thursdays/Fridays featuring a woman/non-binary artist and their work, or a local business owned and operated by women/non-binary people. We are so excited to partner with these incredible people to showcase some amazing work, and to learn about their journey and teaching moments. If you are one of these people or know someone who should be featured please email us at: realrebelroses@gmail.com, or share this post with them!

Thank you all so much for your support, we cannot wait to continue our journey with you all online and in person. Thank you for joining us on this crazy, positive, and yes at times hard road. Thank you for connecting with us, teaching us, allowing us to teach you, and most of all for empowering us to begin and continue on this path. We can’t wait to do the same for you!

Don’t forget to find us on Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Vero, LinkedIn, and Twitter. We’ll be back next week with new content! Until next time Roses.

Signed,
RebelRoses
