Hi There,
Welcome to RebelRose. This is a space where women (binary and non-binary) can feel safe to open up, share thoughts, expressions and build connections. We encourage people to reach out to help build up women in our area when in today's society tearing then down has become a trend. We plan to have fun girl days, trips and events where we get to know each other and build lasting friendships. Weekly discussion topics will be posted and we encourage everyone to share opinions, comments, and ideas.
Now that you know what we do, here’s a bit of our story. We started as an idea in a Tim Hortons (because we’re Canadian eh!) and here we are bringing it to life. We noticed how often women were being pitted against one, and how, although the support is growing bigger and bigger online, a real life support system for women has been missing. Thus the birth of RebelRoses. As stated above we want to become a space for women to come together to voice their thoughts on various topics, make connections, and build one another up.

We will be creating networking events where we can have live discussions regarding topics relevant to our lives, the community, and the world at large. We will also be planning girl days and trips to help relieve some of the pressure from our day to day lives as well as allow everyone to enjoy the moment with women who are amazing, strong and, confident. As you can see here we will also be doing weekly blogs. Eventually we plan on taking things further and doing trips across the province to connect with those a bit out of our current area.

With all the excitement, we also want to lay out some rules. We encourage healthy discussions in our forums, and on our social media pages. Respect is something that we value here. So we ask that everyone show respect for each other, and all of our opinions. That being said we will not tolerate bigotry (in any form or shape), homophobia (or anything hateful and violent against the LGBTQ2+ community), sexism (remember folks feminism means equality of all not just one or two), violence, threats, or anything that may make anyone regardless of race, gender, orientation, religion feel unsafe. If you disregard this and post something that falls into these categories or something else you will be immediately banned, and appropriate actions will be taken. Our goal is to spread love and encouragement; we have zero tolerance for anything that would make a person feel insignificant or unwanted.

Thank you so much for joining RebelRoses on this journey. We hope to provide you with a safe space that encourages healthy discussions and lasting friendships. We look forward to hearing from you! Please do check out the forum, and our social media pages on Facebook, and Instagram!

Signed,
The RebelRoses
