Empowerment. Confidence. Leadership. That’s what I want people to feel when they meet me, or even before they’ve met me.

“Yzobel Biron changed my life,” or “Yzobel inspired me to pursue my passions,” “Because of Yzobel, I took that first step,” are phrases I never take for granted, and phrases that I never get tired of hearing. Impact happens when you allow yourself to be vulnerable, honest, and have a good story to tell. That’s how Truth Media was born.
Truth Media is the mediator between emerging digital artists and value-based businesses who have an important message. We are a creative agency that tells the stories of high-impact entrepreneurs through design, branding, photo, video, social media, and digital marketing.

We believe that stories have the power to drive behaviour. For me, my entrepreneurship story starts when I was six years old. Growing up, I used to design magazines, graphics, and websites for my elementary school classmates. These magazines would be created under my imaginary company named ‘Little Girl Made’, or LGM for short. This theoretical business even had its own business cards created with gel pens! A theoretical full-service digital company! There was nothing that gave me more happiness and satisfaction than assembling collages of images on Corel’s Paint Shop Pro X, and then uploading them onto Livejournal forums to share. This is where I found my safety and passion for turning ideas into reality. In my teenage years, however, I resisted the fact that creativity gave me joy.

“Photography? Drawing? Video? Design? An arts degree? Good luck with that,” was a sentence I became all too familiar with, and a sentence that I grew comfortable believing.
They’re right, I thought. After hearing the same thing so many times from different people, I resisted pursuing what I loved in exchange for financial stability. I know I didn’t want to be a nurse. I dreaded calculus and chemistry. But that doesn’t matter, as long as you’re guaranteed a secure job. How many artists did I already know that traded their passions for ‘stability’? The answer is: too many.

The reality is that we live in the information age now, and it’s just beginning. This is the most incredible and lucrative period of time to be the creative industry. There has never been such tremendous opportunity to monetize your art, to connect to people, and to take your work internationally and globally. Over the past handful of years, I’ve learned to fuse entrepreneurship with creativity. I want to show you that you can do it too. The first step is to decide to not let your fears, doubt, or worries stop you. The only person who can give you everything that you’ve ever dreamt of is you.

Truth Media encourages career development for emerging digital artists. We teach them how to monetize their work, how to market themselves, and we introduce them to experienced creatives in both their niche and multiple industries. Because our core values are community, integrity, and learning, it is a necessity for every single person internal and external of our agency to value. On the business side, we tell the stories of high impact entrepreneurs through design, branding, photos, videos, social media, and digital marketing. By pairing value-based businesses and creatives, we create an empowering community where everybody wins.

Every month Truth Media throws an event at different creative locations for artists to come together and collaborate through video and photoshoots. Whether you’re a model, clothing designer, journalist, event planner, photographer, videographer, we want you to come out and meet people in different creative industries! We want you to ask questions, build relationships, and explore the opportunities out there.

I believe that the right relationships will elevate you, accelerate your growth, and will guarantee to get you to where you want to be faster. I want to see you thrive, be the best version of yourself everyday, and most importantly, live your truth.
